This study will engage readers in a deep research about: (1) converged media, (2) how technology allows individuals to become coauthor or curators; and (3) how collective intelligence can be explored so that natives and digital immigrants can enjoy the information in a secure, efficient and profitable manner.
Technology created a variety of media allowing us to easily, quickly and efficiently communicate with each other. With noise and visual pollution, we need to be able to filter contents. We are all active in the information sharing culture. In this chaos of real facts, freedom of expression and bad content, it’s difficult to sort what is good or bad information. In order to benefit from the material that is thrown at you, it is important to know how each medium is produced and how different kinds of media should be used so that you can distinguish what can be a reliable source of information and what can not.
